Conestoga is a dynamic organization; rich in tradition, strongly principled, and built on a solid ethical foundation.Our outside sales representative is responsible to manage the Minnesota territory (including Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, North, and South Dakota) and to establish sales relationships, negotiate customer purchase commitments and maintain the accounts of existing customers to meet predetermined territory sales goals. This person is also responsible to promote products and services while communicating customer feedback and troubleshooting quality and service issues.Key Functions Of The PositionTravel throughout the assigned geographical territory (including overnight 1-2 nights/week) calling on existing and prospective customers soliciting/enriching buying relationships and increasing territory purchase volumePromote products and services through consultative selling techniques while pursuing a strengthened understanding of customer business practicesProvide troubleshooting assistance to both internal and external customersManage profitability through negotiation of trade discounts based on purchase volume and other factors in compliance with predetermined trade discount guidelinesPrepare required reports on customer, marketplace, and competitor data to make internal departments aware of product and service needsRequired ExperienceCollege degree3+ years of successful field sales experience in a manufacturing environmentGoal drivenExceptional communication and presentation skillsProficient with MS Office softwareCompensation And BenefitsBase salaryBonus and new customer promo bonusCompany vehicle/mobile device/laptopMedical, prescription, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401k with company match, paid vacation and holidays
