Job Title : Fuel System Engineer Location : Everett, WA (Onsite from Day 1) Duration : Full time Airplane Fuel System (Propulsion) Stress Analysis Engineer - Mechanical Key skills (Skill Matrix): Understanding of aircraft systems, especially stress analysis of fuel systems Ability to perform stress calculations related to fuel flow, pressure, and temperature Experience with CAE tools used for simulation and modeling, such as Hypermesh or MATLAB or Simulink and MSC Patran/Nastran Develop certification stress reports for regulatory standards (FAA/EASA) Job Description Summary 7+ years of experience with Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and Finite Element Analysis in Aircraft propulsion fuel system components. Perform structural analysis of aircraft fuel systems (Propulsion). Structural analysis includes calculation of loads, static and fatigue analysis. Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations. Generate documentation (stress check notes) to report analysis results to support certification and qualification processes. Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Work with regulatory framework (FAA) for safety and regulatory compliance. Mechanical Engineer - Experienced Job Description Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering or related fields. Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, free-body diagrams, load path, structural loads, joints and structural analysis methods. Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation, analytical methods) approach. Strong knowledge of aircraft structure fuel systems (propulsion) design philosophy. Aircraft fuel system components structural and safety analysis. Experience in CAE tools (Altair Hypermesh, Hyperview, MSC Patran/Nastran), classical analysis methods.
