FLEXOGRAPHIC PRESS OPERATOR (Direct Hire)Ready to build a long-term career in a hands-on, high-demand trade within the printing industry?WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE • Hands-On Skilled Trade: Gain experience operating flexographic printing equipment with opportunities to develop a specialized skillset.• Career Growth: On-site training with strong potential to advance within a growing organization. • Consistent Work Environment: Work with established processes and equipment in a production-focused setting. • Team-Oriented Setting: Be part of a collaborative production team focused on quality and efficiency. • Competitive Benefits: Strong compensation, benefits package, and performance-based increases.LOCATION: Greater Portland Area POSITION TYPE: Direct Hire SALARY: $60,000 – $70,000 annually SCHEDULE: Full-time, onsite, standard production schedule (5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Set up and operate flexographic printing press equipment based on job specifications • Install print cylinders, dies, and related components into press machinery • Monitor press operation, adjusting speed, alignment, and print quality as needed • Inspect printed materials for quality issues such as alignment, color consistency, and defects • Mix inks to maintain proper color and viscosity standards • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on press equipment • Maintain an organized and clean work area in line with production standardsWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Minimum high school diploma or GED • Minimum of 3 years of flexographic printing experience required • Ability to read and interpret measurements using rulers and scales • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role works in a production environment and requires standing for extended periods, frequent movement, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
