Materials HandlerThe Materials Handler is responsible for picking, pulling, and staging parts, products, and raw materials, and placing them in appropriate bins and carts for distribution to the assembly lines. ResponsibilitiesEnsure a continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assembly areas. Ensure correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements. Perform repetitive material supply functions following detailed work direction. Inspect parts for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor or purchasing personnel. Maintain the department database, prepare routine reports, and file kitter records. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, as well as continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. Complete various assigned tasks to help the facility operate smoothly. Essential SkillsExperience in picking and packing orders. Proficient in inventory management. Experience with ERP/SAP systems. Ability to operate general tools. Time management skills. Ability to track packages, follow processes, and maintain shipping records. Compliance with work order and customer schedules and restrictions. Ability to follow local and corporate procedures. Additional Skills & QualificationsGood manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. High level of attention to detail. Basic English skills; must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Ability to stand for long periods; able to lift, stoop, and bend as needed. ITAR Compliant.
