Backed by strong inventory, market presence, and continued investment, this is a genuine growth opportunity for the right salesperson.About the OpportunityThis is a high-impact, field-based sales role with strong earning potential and long-term career progression.The successful candidate will:Manage an assigned territory across San Angelo and the wider West Central Texas marketSell new and used heavy equipment alongside rental solutions and associated dealer servicesDrive new business with contractors, civil construction firms, industrial accounts, infrastructure customers, agriculture-related accounts, and owner-operatorsGrow existing customer relationships while increasing overall market penetrationConduct regular face-to-face customer visits, jobsite meetings, prospecting activity, and account developmentIdentify opportunities within existing fleet demand and underdeveloped accountsWork closely with internal operations, service, parts, and leadership teams to maximise customer supportMonitor local market activity, competitor movement, and project opportunitiesMaintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory reportingRepresent the business professionally across customer meetings, networking, and industry eventsIdeal Candidate ProfileTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proven outside sales experience within construction equipment, heavy equipment, equipment rental, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, or related capital equipmentStrong understanding of contractor-led and field-based sales environmentsA hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and win new businessExperience managing a geographically spread territory independentlyStrong commercial awareness, negotiation ability, and closing skillsProduct familiarity with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, JCB, Hyundai, CASE, Link-Belt, or similarStrong communication and relationship-building abilityCRM discipline and organised pipeline managementValid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territoryAdditional InformationThis is a full-time, permanent role offering competitive base salary, commission / incentive structure, company vehicle, comprehensive medical benefits, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and ongoing training and development.The business offers long-term stability, growth opportunity, and the backing of an established dealer platform with continued investment in people and equipment.
