Staff Coordinator
Job Title: Staffing CoordinatorLocation (city, state): Madison, WICompensation: $21.23 to $24.00 per hourBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Job Description:This is a fully onsite contract opportunity supporting staffing operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining appropriate staff coverage across multiple departments by managing schedules, coordinating adjustments, and communicating changes in real time.Responsibilities include creating and updating staff schedules, tracking attendance, and coordinating coverage for call-offs and staffing gaps. This position works closely with leadership and department teams to ensure daily staffing needs are met while maintaining accuracy and compliance with scheduling requirements.Shift schedules vary based on operational needs. Through October, coverage includes evening and overnight shifts such as 3:00pm to 11:00pm, 7:00pm to 7:00am, 11:00pm to 7:00am, and partial evening shifts. Beginning in October, shifts transition primarily to daytime and early evening hours, typically 7:00am to 2:30pm.Qualifications:1 to 3+ years of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or administrative support required.Healthcare experience strongly preferred; open to candidates from other high-volume environments.High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook; experience with scheduling systems preferred.Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
