Environmental, Health and Safety Intern

Role DescriptionThe EHS Summer Intern will support corporate Environment, Health & Safety initiatives across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience with safety programs, data analysis, audits, and employee engagement activities.ResponsibilitiesSupport corporate EHS programs, policies, and initiatives across multiple sitesAssist with safety data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., incidents, near misses, audits, training completion)Participate in workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities Help develop or update EHS documentation, training materials, and communicationsResearch best practices and benchmark EHS programs or toolsComplete a defined summer project aligned with corporate safety prioritiesPrepare and deliver a final presentation to leadership summarizing project scope, findings, lessons learned, and recommendationsMinimum Skills / QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a full time degree programStrong interest in workplace safety, health, and environmental complianceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environmentAttention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and processesPreferred Skills / QualificationsCoursework or experience related to OSHA, environmental regulations, or safety management systemsExperience with data analysis, dashboards, or reporting toolsPrevious internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, corporate, or operations environmentsAbout Ardagh GroupArdagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world’s leading brands.
