If this does not align with your preferences, please feel free to opt out.Description:Position Summary:• The primary functions are to perform technical activities in the laboratory related to tests on human specimens and to record laboratory data while working under the technical oversight of a California-licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist.Essential Job Duties:• Assists in specimen testing under direct and constant supervision according to established procedures, working under the technical oversight of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and in compliance with CA regulatory restrictions.• Uses automated and/or digital devices such as timers or thermometers in performing tasks.• Records dates of receipt, in use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used for assigned assays.• Ensures material used is not expired prior to use.• Pipettes using pre-set devices, calibrated and approved automatic devices or fixed volume dispensers.• Performs, under direct supervision, preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment, documents PM appropriately, makes minor repairs and immediately contacts appropriate personnel for problems requiring more complex repairs.• Develops an ever-increasing understanding of laboratory medicine and the clinical significance of laboratory results.• Adheres to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix, CLIA, CAP and other regulatory bodies.• Documents all activities as necessary using good documentation practices (Examples include preventative maintenance logs, instrument function checks, troubleshooting, and quality control) to ensure regulatory compliance.• Follows any other job-related instructions and performs any other job related duties requested by department management.Apidel Technologies Job ID #API4973.About Apidel TechnologiesAt Apidel Technologies LLC, we specialize in delivering high-impacthealthcare staffing solutions that empower organizations to maintainoperational excellence and deliver exceptional patient care.
