TELECOMMUNICATIONS SALES SPECIALISTYour Position & How You Will ContributeReporting to the VP, Sales , you will bring experience in direct sales—particularly field sales, neighborhood marketing, events, and door-to-door sales—coupled with a genuine passion for telecommunications. Your primary responsibility will be promoting and selling our top-tier products and services directly to residential customers within our expanding service area. You’ll be an integral part of a high-performing sales team, utilizing your strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with customers, understand their needs, and highlight the unique value of our offerings.Responsibilities & Key Duties Conduct face-to-face field sales targeting residential customers to promote our internet, phone, and TV packages. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets in our growing service area. Build rapport with prospects, providing them with clear and compelling product information. Actively engage in lead generation through door-to-door canvassing and follow-up on new opportunities. Address customer inquiries professionally, provide tailored solutions, and ensure a seamless sales experience. Track and report daily sales activities and results to the team lead and sales manager. Stay up to date on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends to effectively communicate the benefits of our services. Leverage training resources to continuously improve your sales skills and techniques. Collaborate with the team to refine strategies and enhance customer engagement. Maintainaccuraterecords of sales activities and customer interactions. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions asrequired. What You Bring Self-motivated and enthusiastic about meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and cover assigned territories. Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection while closing sales professionally. Comfortable using mobile devices for sales tracking and communication. A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing excellent service. Familiarity with CRM software andproficiencyin Microsoft Office. Education A degree or diploma in business, communications, or a related field is an asset, but notrequired. Experience Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned regions. Minimum of 1-2 years of direct sales experience, ideally in telecommunications or a related industry. Proven success in door-to-door sales or other direct sales roles. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of customers.
