Senior Accounting Manager, E-Commerce

Our client is a specialized professional services firm. They seek a Senior Accounting Manager, E-Commerce, to join their team. Responsibilities Manage month-end close and all core accounting activities for the assigned team Review financial reports and management packages, ensuring key metrics are accurate and meaningful Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, P&L trend analysis, and overall accounting package accuracy Monitor inventory management, including reconciliations, write-offs, obsolescence adjustments, and product cost accuracy Supervise accounts receivable and payroll processing, including journal entries, accruals, and bill payments Prepare ad hoc reports and detailed analyses as requested by leadership or clients Serve as a point of escalation for client communications and accounting issues Train and mentor team members while developing SOPs and training documentation Manage team budgets and maintain organized, audit-ready financial files Participate in internal initiatives and contribute ideas to improve processes and team effectiveness Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting in e-commerce required 2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role 2+ years of experience leading a team Experience with e-commerce clients required Experience reconciling Shopify, PayPal, QuickBooks Online, bill.com, etc. is required Solid understanding of GAAP and best accounting practices Excellent communication and analytical skills Job ID # 47970 #J-18808-Ljbffr
