Dell Service Delivery Engineer - NYC area local with East Coast travel

Job Title: Dell Infrastructure Deployment EngineerLocation: New York City Metro Area (Travel Required)Salary: 110-140K (based on experience)Job Summary:We are seeking a Dell Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to implement and configure Dell enterprise hardware at customer sites across the NYC metro region. This person will also travel the entire East Coast to help support customer deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on deployment experience with one or more of the following Dell technologies:PowerEdge ServersPowerStorePowerVaultTop-of-rack network switches (Dell and/or Cisco)VX RailData DomainThis role requires a professional who is comfortable working at various sites throughout the NYC metro area during the week, and also traveling throughout the northeastern United States frequently. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary based on customer needs.Key Responsibilities:Travel to customer sites within the NYC metro area to deploy and configure Dell infrastructureUnbox, rack, and cable hardware according to provided specifications and schematicsPower on, upgrade firmware, and perform initial system setupImplement and configure servers, storage, and networking to meet customer requirementsWork collaboratively with customer IT teams to ensure successful deploymentsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues during installationRequirementsMust reside in the NYC metro area and be willing to travel to customer sitesMust be comfortable jumping on a plane to support customer sites along the east coast - from Maine to Florida. US Citizen (required)Hands-on deployment experience with at least one of the Dell technologies listedAbility to lift and rack equipment (up to 40 lbs)Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends as requiredMust be open to training and certification programs as neededReliable transportation for travel to customer locations (some air travel may be required)Dell certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)Excellent customer service and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills & Certifications:Dell server, storage, or networking certificationsExperience with enterprise IT deployments in data center environmentsStrong understanding of networking principles (switching, VLANs, basic routing)Familiarity with firmware updates, RAID configurations, and virtualizationBenefitsOur comprehensive benefits package for full-time salaried employees is effective immediately upon the start date.
