In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting a comprehensive technical support initiative for a prominent Federal agency. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain data analytics solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making processes for government clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, develop self-service dashboards, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to government innovation initiatives, utilizing your expertise in Power BI and related Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2-4 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including developing enterprise models, self-service dashboards, and reports.Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and services such as Power BI, Flow, Cortana, and Data Gateway.Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, and data integration techniques.Hands-on experience with ETL processes, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS reporting tools.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and delivering projects within tight deadlines.Knowledge of Web API development and Azure DevOps (VSTS).Understanding of data security layers and application security best practices.Experience working with government agencies or understanding of government software policies is a plus.Federal security clearance is desirable but not mandatory.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement data models and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI to meet organizational and client needs.Create and publish interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring they align with business requirements and data governance standards.Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather functional and data requirements, translating them into effective data models and visualizations.Develop self-service analytics solutions that empower end-users to perform their own data analysis with minimal technical assistance.Integrate data from various sources, including cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Assist in the development and maintenance of data gateways, data pipelines, and data preparation workflows.Conduct requirement analysis, prototyping, and testing to ensure solutions meet project specifications and quality standards.Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with government regulations.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing BI solutions to improve performance and usability.Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices related to data analytics and business intelligence.BenefitsAt GrabJobs, we value our employees and strive to provide a comprehensive benefits package to support their well-being and professional development.
