Receptionist and Clerical Support For Anderson AdministrationDuties and responsibilities:Receptionist and switchboard operator providing information and guidance to callers, visitors, students, faculty and staffProvides administrative support for Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Student Success including filing, document preparation, computerized reports, projects and other activities as assignedFollow confidential information policies and standardsMessage liaison between faculty and students as neededServe on committees as assignedOrganize reception area for next day's operationFollow all college policies and proceduresAssist with special events, meetings and maintain supply inventoryAssist/troubleshoot copiers, postage machine, fax machine and phonesProvide clerical support and assist with activities as assignedCoordinate communication between daytime and evening faculty and staffResponsible for contacting Security for student and employee safety concernsServe as backup support for faculty area receptionist or for special needsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDGood typing and computer skills Microsoft Office software packageExcellent organizational, communications, human relations, and self-directed work skills within a team environmentKnowledge of switchboard operations and telephone etiquettePreferred Qualifications:Two (2) years administrative support experienceAssociate or bachelor degreeIvy Tech Community College is an accredited, equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
