Machine Operator ($22.00-$24.00/hr)

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Pulling and identifying metal.Operating machinery in the machine shop.Processing orders of structural steel and other metals to size for customer orders.Loading customer vehicles.Interacting with the Team in the Shop & Office.Ensure jobs are processed to timelines.Skills & Experience:At least 1 years' experience as a machine operator.Previous knowledge of Steel, aluminum a plus.Previous Sales Experience preferred.Good customer service skills.Answering phones, taking orders for walk in customers.Basic knowledge of computers.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Accurately measuring with 1/16"Equipment Used:Experience with accurately measuring with a tape measure.Operating machinery (band saws, shear, ironworker, or drill press).Operating a forklift to load heavy items onto trucks.Moving material by hand and Overhead Crane as needed.Physical Requirements:Safely loading racks with stock up to 50 pounds in weight.Requires lifting and pushing 30-50 pounds at a time.Reaching, crouching, bending over and other physically strenuous activities as required.Working on your feet for an 8-hour shift.Education:HS Diploma or GEDQualities Preferred:Excellent communication skills and teamwork experience.Ability to work under pressure.A fast-paced shop environment.Company DescriptionCurrently looking for employees who are willing to make a commitment and grow with a companyCompany DescriptionCurrently looking for employees who are willing to make a commitment and grow with a company
