This role involves performing routine janitorial duties, handling materials, and ensuring production areas are free of hazards. It is an entry-level position that requires physical stamina, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Empty trash, recycling, and scrap bins from production areas and dispose of materials properly.Clear cardboard, plastic wrap, and packaging materials from the warehouse and manufacturing floor to keep workspaces tidy.Organize inventory shelvesLoad and unload raw materials, finished products, and supplies, using manual pallet jacks or forklift.Run floor scrubbers and operate industrial cleaning equipment.Immediately report safety hazard or spills to the supervisor.Assist maintenance staff with basic repairs, painting, and facility upkeep.Accountabilities:Teamwork OrientatedAttention to detail with a meticulous approach to handling materials.Good punctuality and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentflexibility with work requirementsFollow verbal/written instructionsAble to work independentlyReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications & Skills:High School Degree/GED or equivalent0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or janitorial environment (training provided).Familiarity with basic hand tools; experience operating manual pallet jacks and forklift certification may be a plus or training may be provided on the jobAbility to read and understand instructions, basic math skills.LocationThis position will be based at our Creedmoor, NC headquarters.Terms of EmploymentThis is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to loud noises, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and/or walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with arms or hands.
