Request ID: 56819-1 Title: Robotics Perception AI Engineer Locations: Warren, MI 48092 Duration: 6 Months Salary Range: $45- $48/Hour on W2 (All inclusive) Applicants must be able to work on W2 without any Visa sponsorship Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Robotics Perception AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI-driven perception systems for autonomous robotic platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, with hands-on experience integrating perception algorithms into real-world robotic systems. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement perception algorithms for:Object detection and localizationSemantic segmentationScene understandingObject classification and trackingIntegrate AI and computer vision models with ROS/ROS2 for real-time robotic applications (e.g., mobile manipulators, autonomous systems)Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for:Data collectionAnnotationPreprocessingModel training and evaluationWork closely with hardware, software, and domain teams to integrate perception systems with mapping, navigation, motion planning, and control systems Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong passion for robotics and AI-driven automation3+ years of experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or robotic perception systemsProficiency in Python or C++Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlowStrong understanding of robotics fundamentals:SLAMNavigationPath planningPerception systems and their limitationsExperience with sensor data such as:RGB / stereo camerasLiDARDepth sensors (RGB-D) Preferred Qualifications:PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related fieldExperience in autonomous systems such as:Autonomous Vehicles (AV)ADAS systemsIndustrial robotics / manufacturing automation Appreciate your quick response and please feel free to reach me out for any query you may have.
