TMI continues its tradition of excellence by embracing innovation and delivering top-tier solutions in every project it undertakes.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician located in Baltimore, MD. You will be coordinating plumbing and mechanical piping on schools, airports, recreational centers etc. The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs based on project specifications, collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Additional responsibilities include refining and revising designs as necessary and troubleshooting design issues to ensure compliance with project requirements.QualificationsProficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and technical drawing toolsKnowledge of Technical Support and troubleshooting for CAD software and related systemsUnderstanding of Operating Systems and their application to design software environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical blueprints and specificationsEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team settingsAssociate's degree or certification in CAD, engineering, architecture, or a related technical field is preferredExperience in the construction industry or mechanical systems is a HUGE plus
