Systems Engineer II (DoD Cleared Infrastructure & Integration Support)

We are supporting a DoD program seeking a cleared Systems Engineer to support system integration, infrastructure environments, and ongoing design efforts. This role will work alongside senior engineers to support system improvements, documentation, and operational alignment across a multi-technology environment.This is a strong fit for someone with a solid engineering foundation who has had exposure to system design or architecture and is looking to continue building in that area.ResponsibilitiesSupport system integration across network, hardware, and software environmentsAssist in developing and maintaining system design documentation and diagramsWork with senior engineers to evaluate and implement technical solutionsSupport system upgrades, enhancements, and overall environment stabilityEnsure systems align with operational and interoperability requirementsAnalyze workflows and assist in identifying areas for improvementSupport compliance with security and DoD standardsRequired QualificationsActive Secret clearanceIAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)3-5+ years of experience in systems, network, or infrastructure engineeringExperience supporting DoD or federal IT environmentsExposure to system integration, documentation, or design effortsStrong understanding of enterprise IT environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting design discussions or architecture effortsFamiliarity with OSI model or system interoperability conceptsExposure to security practices or system hardeningKaztronix is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, veteran status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
