Full Stack Software Engineer

Thazen is seeking a software engineer to lead the development of modern full stack software applications using React, Angular and equivalent JavaScript libraries. The candidate will lead an Agile scrum team in the development and Integration of infrastructure as code and automation software into fully functional production applications. Essential Job Functions: Recommends corrections in technical applications and analysis.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to less-experienced engineering staff.Work through an agile based full-cycle development that includes requirements analysis, design, & implementation. Apply software engineering standards and assist the engineering team in software system or subsystem development and documentation efforts.Understands and adheres to project schedules and stays within established budgets.Efficiently diagnose and debug front-end and back-end software issues.Clearly and effectively communicate problems and solutions with the team and external stakeholders, both verbally and electronically.Plans, conducts, technically directs and evaluates software projects across and agile development cycleOnsite in Orlando a majority of the work weekRequired Skills:Minimum 8+ years software engineering experience. Strong object-oriented programming expertise Strong expertise with JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, React, Angular and other related libraries desiredExperience in Linux shell scriptingExperience in cloud-based infrastructures and environments Additional experience a plus:Experience with containerization of applicationsExperience in Kubernetes and container orchestrationExperience with back-end development, including node.js, web servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.), database servers, etc.Secure web-based developmentAgile development process and planning tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Git repositories Database designRequired Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.Minimum of 8+ years applicable progressively complex software design engineering experience. US Government Clearance: This specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.
