Senior Oracle EBS Technical Developer

The Senior Oracle Technical Developer designs, develops, and supports custom components in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, including RICEW objects, OIC integrations, custom PL/SQL packages, Workflows, OAF/Forms customizations, and EBS concurrent programs. The developer collaborates with functional analysts, architects, and business owners to deliver reliable, scalable, and audit-compliant technical solutions across Oracle Financials and Procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Development
RICEW Development — Develop and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows aligned with internal standards.
PL/SQL Engineering — Build and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, views, and database objects.
Concurrent Program Support — Implement and support concurrent programs, validations, and staging table frameworks for integrations.
OIC Integration Support — Support OIC integrations, file based pipelines, schedulers, REST/SOAP services, and error handling frameworks.
Reporting Development — Create OTBI/BIP reports and XML Publisher components.
Technical Architecture & Standards
ADOP Compliance — Ensure custom code complies with EBS 12.2 ADOP online patching requirements.
Performance Optimization — Conduct performance tuning for SQL, PL/SQL, workflows, and interface programs.
Technical Governance — Maintain custom objects consistent with governance processes and RICEW lifecycle standards.
Migration Standards — Adhere to internal environment, migration, and deployment standards.
Testing & Release Support
Unit Test Development — Build unit test plans, conditions, and test data based on technical specification patterns.
Debugging & RCA — Perform debugging and root cause analysis across interfaces, APIs, custom objects, and workflows.
Release Validation — Support integrated testing, regression cycles, and release validation for quarterly patches and ERP upgrades.
Production Support
Technical Issue Resolution — Investigate and resolve issues involving custom code, integrations, concurrent programs, and DB performance.
Interface Error Analysis — Analyze staging table errors, interface failures, and OIC orchestration logs using enterprise error handling frameworks.
On Call Support — Provide on call support for batch failures, data corrections, and system performance issues.
Collaboration & Documentation
Functional–Technical Translation — Work with functional teams to validate requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs and MD70 documents.
Impact Analysis — Provide impact analysis for patches, customizations, SLA changes, table updates, and integrations.
Technical Documentation — Maintain code documentation, configuration files, and migration trackers aligned with TDD expectations..
Position Details:
Pay Rate / Range:$75-$87/hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
