Legal Assistant Tasks (immediate)- Administrative support for LegalZoom consulting business: calendaring consultation appointments, email correspondence with LegalZoom customers and LegalZoom administrator, managing/updating consultation time sheets.- Managing client intake: preparation of intake documents, setting up new client files.- Ongoing client file management.- Drafting basic legal documents in business, estate planning and real estate matters.- Online tasks: business registrations, business license/EIN applications for business clients, processing annual reports.- Follow-up tasks: document copying/scanning, managing/updating electronic filing system, routine correspondence/mailings to clients.- Document filing and recording.- Running business errands.Administrative Assistant Tasks (eventually)- QuickBooks accounting system...data input and system management.- Business check preparation.
