Key Qualifications:Valid Connecticut #112 or #113 Early Childhood Certification requiredExperience teaching PreK within a public school setting is essentialExpertise in delivering specialized instruction, drafting IEP goals, and monitoring progressStrong communication skills for parent meetings, PPTs, and collaborating with educational teamsDemonstrated ability to nurture a positive, inclusive classroom environment Primary Responsibilities:Deliver developmentally appropriate, individualized instruction in a PreK special education settingAssess students' needs, write effective IEP goals, and ensure timely progress reportsParticipate actively in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetingsDocument growth and maintain detailed recordsFoster relationships with families and staff to support the holistic needs of each child This contract offers the stability of a consistent schedule with 27.5 hours across five weekdays, providing a great work-life balance for dedicated educators.
