Job Title: Payload Systems Verification and Validation EngineerJob DescriptionAs a Payload Systems Verification and Validation Engineer, you will define, analyze, and validate system and subsystem requirements for payloads. You will develop and execute verification plans, including defining test strategies, writing test procedures, and analyzing results.ResponsibilitiesPerform FDIR (Fault Detection and Recovery) related tasks.Lead or support system-level payload test campaigns, both at equipment and spacecraft level.Interface with payload hardware and software teams to ensure correct implementation and traceability of requirements.Participate in technical reviews and support anomaly investigation and resolution.Essential SkillsProficiency in platform verification software and validation.Experience with Verification and Validation (V&V) processes.Knowledge of flight software and satellite assembly integration and testing.Experience in requirements verification by test.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with space or constellation operations.Proficiency in automated testing.Knowledge of requirement management tools such as DOORS, Windchill, and JAMA.Work EnvironmentThis is a remote opportunity with 25% international travel.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
