Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized support across multiple educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This travel position offers the opportunity to deliver critical speech and language services to students in diverse school environments within the Waterbury, CT area.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving communication skills.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students academic success.Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and services provided.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.Desired Qualifications:Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings.Strong ability to adapt therapy strategies for a wide range of ages and communication disorders.Ability to travel between school locations within the designated area.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Location: Waterbury, Connecticut (travel required within the local school district)Benefits include a dynamic work environment, opportunities to impact student development, and the chance to work with a diverse student population across multiple educational stages.Candidates passionate about fostering students communication abilities in a school setting with flexible travel requirements are encouraged to apply for this impactful role.Compensation for this position ranges from $45.92 to $65.92.
