Introduction Our client is a busy and well-equipped small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive clinical team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to cats and dogs and is known for delivering high-quality medicine in a team-oriented environment. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates seven days a week, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing consistent care to its community. This role follows a full-time schedule, with shift patterns structured to support both patient care and work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities As an Associate Veterinarian, you will deliver high-quality general practice veterinary care across a varied caseload. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive patient examinations and medical work-ups, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing diagnostic procedures, and carrying out surgical interventions. You will play a key role in client communication and education, ensuring owners are well informed and supported throughout their pet's care. This position is open to students, new graduates, and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship and support available to help clinicians build confidence and develop their skills. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology to support excellent patient care, including top-tier anesthesia monitoring with Cardell CO and Surgivet systems, endoscopy, digital radiography, tonometry, laser therapy, and ultrasound. The 6,500-square-foot facility features seven exam rooms, dedicated surgery and dental suites, and a private bereavement room, creating a thoughtful and well-designed clinical environment. Services offered include dental care, cold laser therapy, radiology, soft tissue surgery, tonometry, ultrasound, and preventative medicine. Team You will join a collaborative five-doctor team supported by a fantastic group of experienced technicians and support staff.
