Associate Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a long-established veterinary hospital that has proudly served its local community since 1953. They are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about delivering thorough, long-term care in a supportive and community-rooted environment. Working Hours / Rota This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday from 8 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and closed on Sundays. No weekend coverage is required, offering a consistent weekday schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a range of clinical duties with a focus on high-quality, comprehensive care. Clinical services include surgery, dermatology, laser therapy, preventative care, diagnostic imaging, wellness exams, and more. The hospital takes a whole-pet approach, aiming to identify the root causes of health concerns and provide compassionate, long-term treatment. This position is open to experienced veterinarians. Practice Details The hospital has been a trusted presence in the community for decades and is known for its warm, family-like atmosphere and commitment to personalized care. Services offered include dermatology, laser therapy, preventative care, vaccinations, diagnostic imaging, microchipping, wellness exams, surgery, nutrition, and euthanasia. The team operates within a well-supported infrastructure and values a collaborative and fun culture with regular team-building activities. Team The current team includes two DVMs and a strong support staff. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and long-tenured, with many team members having been part of the practice for decades.
