Maintenance Director

The Residence at Dania Beach - Qualifications :Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problemsPerforming routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repairWorking on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occursMaintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properlyApplying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roofFixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesPainting the building when old paint has become faded or chippedElectrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricityCarpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the buildingGroundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenanceInterpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant mannerAttention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary mannerOverseen the Housekeeping and maintenance staffKnowledge of AHCA, NFPA, CMS, OSHA, EPA codes and regulationsAbility to Multitask and established prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentationsEducation :High school diploma, GED or 2 years responsibility as a Manager in the field.Physical Demands :Sits; stand; bends, kneels, climbs stairs, ladder and equipment; has good sence of balance to work on heights. Some lifting of medium and/or heavy equipment and tools.Computer Skills :Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and OutlookPay Rate: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. Depending On Experience.
