POSITION SUMMARY
The Events Coordinator will be working 50% of their time as a marketing professional who promotes POA Restaurants on social channels. The other 50% of the role will coordinate events at the POA, with most events taking place at Food & Beverage locations and other event locations owned and operated by the POA.
This position performs administrative, logistical, marketing, and project management tasks for the Bella Vista POA, with a focus on the Food & Beverage Department growth and outcome. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a problem-solving, solution-focused environment. Will be responsible for attending department meetings, creating marketing material for the F&B restaurants, arranging vendors, coordinating entertainment bookings, invoicing and overseeing the internal events calendar. Must have experience working in highly collaborative environments, must be a great listener, self-motivated, organized and meticulous. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and the ability to work some evenings and some weekend events. Enthusiastic candidates, please apply. Will work closely with various departments and decision-makers, especially with the Marketing & Communications Department and Director.
REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with entertainment vendors.
Work closely with Food and Beverage Truck Vendors.
Attend varying departmental meetings to align internal events calendar & marketing requests.
Understand the requirements of each event.
Plan event with attention to detail and financial and time constraints.
Manage all event operations.
Manage the social channels that current F&B managers handle per F&B location
Manage content for external events calendar.
Oversee the entertainment invoicing and management of talent bookings at all POA venues.
Provide support and troubleshooting on-site at events.
Evaluate success, identify issues and submit metrics repots post-event to improve future events.
Must be budget conscious and aware of payment to each vendor.
Know how to use and grow social channels, especially META channels, Facebook and Instagram.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Proven experience in Marketing & Communications or a closely related field.
Must have a strong interest in events and event coordination management.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and effectively communicate key data.
Knowledge Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Must have the ability to recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, oversee corrections within assigned specialty; work effectively, independently and follow through on assignments; promote and maintain a team environment; work effectively with Members, vendors and senior managers; communicate orally and in writing; read, interpret and apply documentation.
Work requires continual, meticulous attention to details.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Weekend and evening availability.
Must exhibit excellence in Customer and Member Related Service with all customers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
