This role is responsible for executing core administrative tasks across servers, cloud environments, and end-user systems while partnering with senior engineers, cybersecurity, and application teams.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone looking to grow within an enterprise IT environment while contributing to systems that directly support business operations. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Systems & Infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesSystem Maintenance: Installing, patching, and upgrading server operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software applications.User Support & Administration: Creating, maintaining, and removing user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Active Directory or Azure AD.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitoring system logs, performance metrics, and network connectivity to ensure uptime.Backup & Security: Executing scheduled data backups, verifying data integrity, and performing restores when needed.Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related tickets and incidentsSupporting and collaborating with senior engineersSkills and Qualifications2+ years of experience in systems administrationBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related fieldExperience working in a ticketing system (Zendesk, Jira, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and documentation skillsAbility to explain technical concepts to inexperienced usersStrong attention to detailAbility to solve problems in stressful situationsWhat Success Looks LikeTickets and requests are handled efficiently and accuratelySystems remain stable, reliable, and well-maintainedIssues are escalated appropriately with strong documentationStrong partnership with senior engineers and other IT teamsDemonstrates growth toward more advanced infrastructure responsibilitiesKey Traits for SuccessStrong attention to detail and follow-throughWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesAbility to work within defined processes and proceduresTeam-oriented with a proactive mindsetWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
