Pail Line Operator/Mechanic

This position is responsible to learn to set -up, operate, repair and maintain the various machines and equipment of the pail line to produce a quality product while maintaining production standards. This person must be physically able to bend, crawl over, under and around the machinery as needed and be able to lift 40 pounds. Set-up properly all equipment of the pail line. Equipment includes Seam Welder, Expander, Pup Curl, Curl and Bead, Turnover, Spin Flange, Ear Welder, Automatic Parts Feeder, Seamer, Child Warning Label Machine, Paint Booth, Ovens, Tester, Video Jet and Bail-O-Matic. Must be capable of using measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers. Start up and properly run the various equipment of the pail line. Understand and complete the various verification procedures for all equipment of the pail line. Complete all preventative maintenance requirements daily, weekly and monthly for the pail line equipment. Ensure all proper housekeeping is completed for all equipment on the pail line. Ensure all safety requirements are maintained while setting up, running and maintaining the pail line equipment. Maintain all required tools for successful set-up, operation and maintenance of pail line equipment. Understands all Learning / Training documentation including operating specs, diagnostics and machine rebuild. Works with all other plant personnel to ensure efficient operation of pail line. Assist Plant General Manager and Pail Line Manager with any other duties or responsibilities as required. Resume/Interview Background check and drug screen Starting pay could increase based on experience. 5:30 am start time generally 9-10 hour days. Some Saturdays are required. If hired on by the company after 720 hours you are eligible for a hire on bonus of $2000.00.
