Job Title : Structural Analysis Engineer Location :Fort Worth , TX (Onsite) Full Time opportunity Job Description Complete static stress reports and develop analysis packages for review and release in ENOVIA. Develops complex conceptual and detailed design specifications by analyzing product performance. Investigates design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, weight and stress & strength requirements. Performs diverse and complex product development, modification, and evaluation of components, by applying engineering principles and developing new or unique stress analysis tools/ methods as required. Applies scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, life, and alternatives. Interprets and validates test results from material testing / feature testing for accuracy and applicability Utilizes and interprets predictive models to simulate and verify design concepts. Perform static analysis using industry standard calculations methods (i.e. Bruhn, Roark, Flabel, and O.E.M. structures manuals) Contributes to the completion milestones associated with specific projects (e.g. create functional diagrams and system layouts; review detailed drawings and schematics; define data structure, interfaces and analyze material requirements) Reviews airframe specifications and/or modifications to ensure clarity, completeness, form, fit, function, and conformity to standards and procedures. Troubleshoots design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions, engineering change orders, and improvements to engineering management or the project team. Use CATIA V6 / ENOVIA and a balance of classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures. BS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Math or related science degree. Experience in Aircraft stress analysis +10 yrs. required. Experience in Helicopter structural design is preferred, including composites Experience with CATIA V6 and Enovia Experience with ANSYS, NASTRAN/PATRAN, FEMAP and HYPERMESH (Desired) Microsoft software suite applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Good oral and written communication skills Skills & Experience Aircraft Structures, Stress Analysis, Structural Testing Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Employee discount Life insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: CATIA: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Fort Worth, TX 76102 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Fort Worth, TX 76102: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
