Facility Maintenance Mechanic

If you have a passion for facilities maintenance and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our team dedicated to excellence in facility service management.Responsibilities● Oversee the technical aspects of equipment and resolve issues in a timely manner.● Troubleshoot issues that arise during projects and offer solutions to maintain progress.● Develop and perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment.● Conduct emergency repairs as necessary to ensure the safety and functionality of the facility.● Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment, including heavy vehicles and tools.● Maintain a clean and organized workspace and facility environment.● Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and meetings at the facility.● Ensure all maintenance tasks are documented accordingly and report any issues to supervisors promptly.● Collaborate with external vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services as needed.● Comply with all safety regulations and policies during maintenance activities.Requirements● High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification in facilities management is a plus.● Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.● Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance practices.● Ability to troubleshoot and repair common facility issues effectively and efficiently.● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with team members and management.● Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.● Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as necessary for maintenance tasks.● Engage in physical tasks such as lifting, climbing and moving materials, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.Company Description Morgan Contractors is a leading provider of construction and maintenance services, specializingin delivering high-quality solutions for infrastructure projects.
