Easy access to the stunning Lake Michigan and Lake Huron shorelines. Position Overview: Join the core faculty at a Family Medicine Residency Program with a strong focus on rural medicine. Participate in an unopposed 4-4-4 residency program with continued ACGME accreditation. Work within a physician-led organization committed to quality education and patient care. Responsibilities: Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to residents. Conduct hospital rounds and precept residents in the outpatient office. Engage with medical students and deliver direct patient care. Patient & Procedure Mix: Comprehensive family medicine practice encompassing physical, emotional, and social health from birth through adulthood. Manage preventive health care, acute and chronic disease diagnosis, and treatment. Schedule: Full-time with a flexible schedule accommodating both inpatient and outpatient duties. Shared call schedule of 1:5, with support from hospital medicine providers. Qualifications: U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent. Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine. Completion of an ACGME-approved residency. Eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License.
