Confidential Opportunity – Enclosure Builder (MIG Welding / Fabrication)
Location:Itasca, IL
Compensation:$22–$28/hr (up to $30/hr based on experience) + Significant Overtime
Schedule:1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM (typical), plus Saturdays as needed
Employment Type:Contract-to-Hire (strong long-term potential)

The Role We’re seeking ahands-on Enclosure Builder / Fabricatorwho takes pride in craftsmanship and precision. This role focuses on buildingcustom industrial enclosuresused in critical infrastructure environments.
You’ll work from detailed blueprints to fabricate, fit, and weld structural and sheet metal components—playing a key role in delivering high-quality, engineered systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerformMIG weldingon sheet metal and structural components
Read and interpretcomplex mechanical blueprints
Measure, cut, and fit materials to tight tolerances
Perform full-cycle fabrication: layout → fit-up → weld → assembly
Use tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and precision measuring equipment
Operate overhead cranes and other shop equipment safely
Ensure structural integrity and alignment of custom-built enclosures
What We’re Looking For3–5+ years ofwelding/fabrication experience(non-production environment preferred)
Strong blueprint reading skills (large assemblies a plus)
Experience withprecision measurement tools(tape, calipers, micrometers)
Proven ability to weld totight tolerances
MIG welding required;TIG is a plus
Comfortable with hands-on fabrication—not just repetitive welding
Experience with mechanical assembly is highly preferred
Willingness to workovertime (up to 60–65 hrs/week when ramped)
