This is a hands-on fabrication role — not repetitive production — focused on creating large, custom industrial enclosures from sheet metal and structural components.If you enjoy layout, cutting, fitting, and assembling complex builds while holding tight tolerances, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work and grow long-term.What You'll DoPerform high-quality MIG welding on sheet metal and structural componentsRead and interpret detailed mechanical blueprintsMeasure, cut, fit, and assemble parts to precise tolerancesUse fabrication tools, power tools, and overhead cranes safelySupport full build processes from layout through final assemblyWork indoors and outdoors depending on project needsTIG welding experience is a plus for finer or technical work.What We're Looking For3+ years fabrication or welding experience (5+ preferred)Strong blueprint reading and dimensional measuring skillsExperience welding to tolerance (not high-volume production)Comfortable using saws, grinders, drills, and fabrication equipmentWilling to work extended hours as production ramps upSchedule & PayContract-to-hire (6 months)$22–$28/hr (have seen up to $30/hr for top experience)Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMOften adjusted to 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Fri) + half-day Saturday during busy periodsWith overtime up to ~65 hours/week, estimated total annual earnings can range from approximately $90,000 to $121,000+, depending on hourly rate and hours worked.Interview ProcessOne onsite interview with a welding test
