This role ensures the SVP's priorities are executed efficiently and effectively, managing budgets, special projects, executive briefing materials, and high-quality presentationsThe Senior Manager is a trusted advisor, problem solver, and integrator—responsible for driving operational excellence, improving internal processes, and enabling the SVP to focus on strategic engagement and external leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Role ResponsibilitiesBudget Management: Manage planning, tracking, and monitoring departmental budgets by developing forecasts, monitoring spending, and analyzing variances to ensure effective use of resources, financial transparency, and adherence to organizational controlsStrategic Support: Serve as a strategic advisor to the SVP and lead special initiatives by prioritizing work, managing competing demands, and leading special projects from planning through execution, including meeting facilitation and follow up. This will enable the SVP to focus on high impact priorities and ensure initiatives are executed efficiently and effectivelyReporting & Communication: Deliver clear, executive level reporting and communications, including preparing concise reports, presentations, and status updates that track progress, risks, and decisions to provide leadership with timely, accurate information needed for decision making and oversightOperational Excellence: Ensure effective day to day operations and cross functional execution. Coordinate across teams, track deadlines and deliverables, allocate resources, and implement process improvements to drive alignment, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent delivery of organizational prioritiesLeadership Coordination: Coordinate leadership activities and stakeholder engagement. Act as a liaison between the SVP and internal and external stakeholders, managing communications and alignment to ensure cohesive leadership operations and clear, consistent execution of leadership prioritiesJob Requirements and ExperienceAdvanced degree (Business Administration, Public Policy) a plusMinimum 7 years of experience in operations, project management, or corporate affairs rolesExceptional organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in a chief of staff, operations, or strategic management role.Strong experience managing budgets, planning, and operational processes.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environmentMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesProven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization and can collaborate across multiple functionsExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), building dashboardsDetailed oriented, has strong business and financial acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsExceptional executive communication skillsAbility to plan and manage high impact initiatives from concept through completionAbility to develop high impact executive materials, briefings, talking points, for SVP corp affairs engagementStrong organization skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables, manage competing priorities, and drive execution in a fast paced environmentThis position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWE Americas office and field locationsMust be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of timeApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
