This full-time, on-site position in Scottsdale, AZ offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to make a significant impact in the field of web development and technology. What you will do: Write clean code that follows industry standards and best practices. Deliver high-quality and maintainable code using test-driven methodologies. Participate and contribute towards improving the development process and practices within the team and across the organization. Responsibilities: Full Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end development of software solutions, including both frontend and backend components and also manage the software deployment life-cyle. JavaScript: Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript and its associated frameworks, particularly React or Vue for the frontend and Node for the backend. AWS Integration: Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions on the AWS platform. Leverage various AWS services to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of the applications. API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the frontend and backend components. Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and operations. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases is preferred. Code Quality and Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and implement best practices to ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable code. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver software solutions that align with business objectives. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues through systematic problem-solving, debugging, and testing. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. Good leadership and team management skills: If given the opportunity, should be able to lead team and work with Software Developers (SD II) Strong Agile and Jira practices: Should understand Jira workflows, and enforce and follow best practices. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React/Vue/Node languages. In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI). Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed and should be a quick learner.
