Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Job DescriptionPosition Skills:Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptomsLaboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecalsDiagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff membersSkills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring.Responsibilities / Qualifications: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT).
