Sandwich Maker / Line Cook Olmo is a small, fast-casual restaurant that specializes in bagel sandwiches that is located in New Haven, CT. We are looking for a Sandwich Maker with Line Cook experience to join our team. We are looking for someone with line cook experience who can become a plug-and-play member of our fast-paced team. Requirements: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work standing for the entire duration of the shift. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for 8 hours, including the entire shift. Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and bend at the waist while working on the production line. Must be able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Must have reliable transportation. Responsibilities: Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and tools needed for preparing sandwiches. Prepare stations with stocking prepped food items into the Olmo organizational system Cook food by following procedures that involve preparing ingredients, measuring them, and cooking them in various combinations according to the recipe. Read tickets and build sandwiches according to recipes Pay starts at $17/hr guaranteed, plus tips, which average $5-7/hr. Growth opportunities exist for future hourly pay increases.
