This role oversees revenue analytics, payer performance management, contracting support, credentialing alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure sustainable financial outcomes.The Sr. Manager is a hands on, working, Manager that will partner closely with Revenue Cycle Operations leadership, Managed Care, Finance, Compliance, IT, and Executive teams to identify revenue opportunities, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable improvements across the full revenue cycle lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Cycle Strategy & PerformanceDevelop and execute a comprehensive revenue cycle performance strategy aligned with organizational financial and growth objectivesDefine, monitor, and report key revenue cycle KPIs, including net collection rate, denial rate, days in A/R, cash acceleration, underpayments, and contract yieldLead root cause analysis of revenue and performance gaps; design and drive corrective action plans in partnership with Vice President- and Director-level leadersProvide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingRevenue Analytics & ReportingHelp to lead the revenue analytics function, including productivity reporting, client dashboards, and executive-level performance reportingTranslate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersStandardize KPI definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies across departments to ensure consistency and transparencyIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities in payer performance, reimbursement patterns, and revenue realizationManaged Care & Contracting SupportProvide financial modeling and analytics support for payer contract negotiations and renewalsMonitor contract performance to identify underpayments, reimbursement variances, and yield opportunitiesDevelop and maintain payer scorecards and contract performance tracking toolsPartner with Managed Care and Finance teams to support contract optimization and financial forecastingCredentialing & Payer Enrollment AlignmentEnsure alignment between credentialing and payer enrollment processes and revenue cycle performance goalsMonitor credentialing timelines and quantify financial impact related to enrollment delays or gapsIdentify credentialing-related revenue leakage risks and partner with Operations and Compliance to mitigate impactProcess Improvement & OptimizationLead cross-functional revenue performance improvement initiatives across the revenue cycleImplement best practices in denial prevention, underpayment recovery, and reimbursement optimizationLeverage automation, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency and workflow effectivenessSupport system implementations, enhancements, and revenue-related integrations in partnership with IT and Product teamsLeadership & CollaborationLead, mentor, and develop high-performing analytics and performance teamsServe as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on revenue performance, risk, and growth opportunitiesCollaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Managed Care teams to align revenue goals and executionFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-makingEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field requiredMaster’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, analytics, or performance optimization2+ years of experience leading teams or enterprise-level initiativesDeep understanding of payer contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle KPIsRequired Knowledge & SkillsAdvanced knowledge of end-to-end revenue cycle operations and financial performance driversStrong analytical, financial modeling, and data interpretation skillsExperience developing executive-level dashboards and performance reportingAbility to influence and collaborate across senior leadership and cross-functional teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to executive audiencesExperience leveraging automation, BI tools, and data platforms to improve efficiency and insightNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any timeBenefitsBenefit package including Medical, Vision, Dental, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life InsuranceVacation/Sick time401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid HolidaysSIS Cares DayWe believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
