Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Globe, AZ Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $842 to $1,042 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or equivalent from an accredited educational program. Active Arizona PTA license is required for submission or candidate must have already applied and be able to provide an estimated timeline for license approval prior to the assignment. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Ability to follow POC developed by supervising Physical Therapist and document care in electronic medical record systems. Ability to work a 32-hour work week with availability for a 4x8 days schedule as required by the client. Preferred: prior experience with restorative nursing programs and mobility/transfer training for older adults. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift name: Days. Schedule: 4 x 8 shifts per week (client indicates a 32 hour guarantee). Assignment length: 13 weeks. Arizona license required for submission or must have applied and be able to provide an ETA for approval.
