Responsibilities Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes. Install, maintain, and replace automation systems throughout the production process to reduce human efforts and time, increasing accuracy. Understand and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Troubleshoot non-functioning components, including motion sensors, control components, and photosensors. Improve efficiency, reduce waste, lower costs, and enhance productivity. Create detailed specifications and other documents, developing automation based on specific requirements for the process involved. Keep leadership updated on current automation capabilities and future opportunities. Qualifications Associate degree in Automation Engineering or a closely related field. Demonstrated work experience with robotics and production automation. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
