Business Litigation Associate Attorney

A national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Litigation practice in Miami. The role is suited to attorneys with 4-5 years of business litigation experience who have handled sophisticated commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.The position offers exposure to complex litigation matters in a collaborative environment, with opportunities for direct interaction with partners and clients. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and oral advocate who thrives in a busy practice and is looking to contribute to the long term growth of a sophisticated litigation team.Must Haves4-5 years of business litigation experience with substantial exposure to complex commercial disputes in state and federal courtsExperience managing written and document discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings, and handling depositionsStrong legal writing and oral advocacy skills, including court appearances for status conferences and motion argumentsJD from an ABA approved law school and active Florida Bar membership, or ability to obtain timely admissionStrong interpersonal skills, exceptional work ethic, and comfort working directly with partners and clientsNice to HavesFederal judicial clerkship experienceExperience with settlement conferences, negotiations, and trial preparationFluency in both Spanish and English, including legal written and verbal communicationExperience thriving in a sophisticated and collaborative litigation environmentCollegiality, creativity, and intellectual curiosityPositive attitude and highly motivated approachCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $290,000 – $310,000Benefits include:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement planDisability insuranceLife insuranceAdoption assistanceBackup care for dependentsInterested?
