Job Description & Skill Requirement:• Collect and understand system-level thermal performance requirements• Translate requirements into component-level specifications• Collaborate with system, thermal, and electrical teams• Own 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for thermal components• Apply DFMEA and DVP&R methodologies• Coordinate with suppliers for design reviews and feasibility studies• Define and track DV (Design Validation) and PV (Product Validation) test plans and address issues• Support lab testing for components (e.g., vibration, thermal cycling, pressure tests)• Address any test failures through Root Cause Analysis and design updates• Interface with test engineers and use test reports to drive design improvements• Ensure timely part release to meet vehicle build milestones
