Join our team as a Seasonal Golf Clubhouse Cook and help deliver quality food service to golfers and guests at the Majestic Oaks Pro Shop area. In this fast-paced, short-order cooking role, you'll prepare and serve fresh menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on cooking, customer interaction, and working in an outdoor, resort-style food service environment.Position DetailsEmployment Type: SeasonalShift: Flexible (Days, Weekends, Holidays; primarily daytime golf hours)Department: Golf Operations / Food & Beverage What You'll DoTake guest orders and provide friendly, efficient counter servicePrepare and cook short-order menu items including sandwiches, wraps, grilled items, fried foods, and snacksSet up, maintain, and break down outdoor food service and prep areas dailyEnsure all ingredients and menu items are stocked and ready for serviceFollow established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelinesMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and service areas including grills, fryers, tables, and work surfacesMonitor inventory levels and order or restock supplies through the established requisition processAssist with beverage service and support F&B attendants as neededEnsure smooth service flow by keeping the line organized and fully stockedAssist with closing duties, including cleaning, securing, and resetting the kitchenMaintain food safety standards and comply with all health regulationsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForMust be 18 years of age or olderAt least 1 year of cooking or food service experience preferredStrong time management and multitasking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environmentBasic knowledge of grilling, frying, and short-order cooking techniquesDependable, team-oriented, and detail-focusedAbility to follow recipes and food safety procedures consistentlyPositive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40-50 lbs regularlyFrequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motionAbility to work in outdoor and kitchen environments, including heat and weather exposure Work EnvironmentOutdoor clubhouse and golf course food service settingFast-paced, high-traffic environment during peak golf hoursExposure to varying weather conditions (heat, wind, rain, sun)Combination of outdoor setup and indoor/outdoor cooking stationsRequires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf seasonActive role requiring constant movement, multitasking, and guest interactionAbout Lake Lawn ResortLocated on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier hospitality destination known for exceptional service and a strong team culture.
