Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and managing cloud-native applications on Azure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role requires hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell scripting, and Azure database services including Azure SQL and Azure Database for PostgreSQL.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.Build, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.Administer and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) virtual machines and container environments.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks using PowerShell.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure workloads for performance, availability, and security.Manage Azure SQL Database and Azure Database for PostgreSQL environments, including backups, scaling, and performance tuning.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable application delivery.Perform upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and disaster recovery activities.Ensure cloud solutions comply with organizational security and governance standards.Required Skills:3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.Strong Linux Administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Experience building and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.Strong scripting skills using PowerShell.Experience with Azure SQL Database.Experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL.Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Azure networking, storage, and identity management.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep).Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Experience with Azure Key Vault and Azure RBAC.Familiarity with Git, YAML, and DevOps best practices.Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent) are a plus.Must-Have Skills:Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Azure DevOps (CI/CD Pipelines)Linux AdministrationPowerShell ScriptingAzure SQL & Azure Database for PostgreSQLNice-to-Have Skills:DockerTerraform/BicepAzure MonitorAzure NetworkingGit & YAMLAzure Key VaultInfrastructure as Code (IaC)
