Director of Finance -Multifamily Property Management

We invest in our people throughtraining, structure, and accountability, because we believe the right team and executioncan optimize any property.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Director of Finance to lead all financialoperations for our growing multifamily portfolio. This is a senior leadership roleresponsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financialplanning.This position works closely with the COO and ownership, playing a key role in drivingperformance, improving systems, and supporting acquisitions and long-term growth.Key Responsibilities Lead all financial and accounting functions across the multifamily portfolio Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Prepare and review investor reporting packages and capital accounts Monitor and drive NOI performance across properties Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Manage cash flow, distributions, and lender reporting Oversee multi-entity accounting structures(LLC per asset) Build, manage, and mentor the accounting team Coach,train,anddevelopdepartmentstafftoimproveperformanceandgrowth Establish and improve internal controls and financial processes Partner with the COO and ownership on acquisitions and strategy Coordinate with CPAs, lenders, and third-party partners Oversee financial compliance related to real estate operations Foster a positive, high-performance team cultureQualifications 5+yearsofexperienceinmultifamilyorpropertymanagementfinance Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field(CPA preferred) Leadership experience (Controller, Director, or similar) StrongunderstandingofNOI,BalanceSheets,GL,budgets,anddistributions Experience with multi-entity accounting Knowledge of real estate accounting compliance Experience with AppFolio preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Positive, energetic leadership style Strategic and hands-on abilityCompensation & Benefits Base Salary:$125,000- $135,000(DOE) Bonus potential based on performance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k)retirement plan Generous PTO and sick days Paid birthday offWhy Join C+A: 35+yearsindustryexperience Growing multifamily portfolio Performance-driven culture Hands-on operational approach Entrepreneurial environment Strong team cultureCore Values People-Oriented Passionate Professional ProvenTravel Requirements Ability to travel nationally as neededEqual Opportunity EmployerChamberlin + Associates is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, andall qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color,religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation,gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristicprotected by law
