Non-Invasive Technician

SUMMARYThe Noninvasive Technician I performs electrocardiography procedures and performs application of cardiac monitors for diagnostic purposes for Bryan Medical Center and institutions throughout the region.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:*Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.*Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms, signal-averaged electrocardiograms, flight physical electrocardiograms, and holter and event monitor applications in accordance with established departmental policies.*Takes calls from account hospitals for ""Stat"" overreads; contacts Cardiologist 24/7 for urgent interpretation.*Receives event monitor transmissions of ECG strips and contacts Cardiologist for ""Stat"" overreads.*Recognizes and reports ""Discrepancy ECG"".*Prepares unconfirmed ECG's for cardiologist overread.*Transcribes cardiologist overread, creating a confirmed ECG; distributes copies of confirmed ECG.*Performs routine equipment maintenance.*Transports patient and/or equipment, alone or with assistance, in bed, wheeled cart or wheel chair to designated area.QUALIFICATIONS:
