Company Description Asia Consultancy Group (ACG) is a privately held international telecommunications services company focused on building a modern digital highway for Afghanistan. ACG provides telecommunication consultancy, microwave network augmentation and construction, cell tower co-location leasing, and value-added services for telecom operators, ISPs, NGOs, government entities, and private sector clients. It is the first and, as of June 2008, the only licensed telecommunications support company authorized by the Afghan Ministry of Communications to serve GSM providers and other licensed telecom companies in Afghanistan. The organization operates in a dynamic, high-impact environment and plans to expand its offerings to Central Asian countries as its infrastructure grows beyond Afghanistan.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Kabul. The Writer will create clear, accurate, and engaging content such as reports, proposals, internal communications, marketing materials, and technical summaries related to telecommunications projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching project information, interviewing subject matter experts, organizing complex technical concepts into accessible language, and ensuring all written materials align with ACG’s brand, standards, and regulatory requirements. The Writer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership to support documentation needs, edit and proofread existing content, and help maintain consistent messaging across internal and external communications.Qualifications Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading for business and technical audiences.Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.Experience creating reports, proposals, and formal documentation in English; Dari and/or Pashto knowledge is an advantage.Familiarity with telecommunications or infrastructure projects, or willingness to quickly learn technical concepts.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working in Kabul on a full-time basis; prior experience in similar regional or field environments is a plus.
