Soloh Partners is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Morristown, New Jersey.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: MRI TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 06/01/2026Duration: 12 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hoursEmployment Type: Local ContractPosition: MRI TechnicianLocation: Morristown, NJPay Rate: $ 60/hrSchedule: Wednesday – Friday 11 AM – 9 PM and Saturdays 7 AM – 5 PM Duties:-Examining table and place specified coil (receiver) such as head coil or knee coil close to area of interest, following protocols requested by Radiologist-Demonstrate use of microphone that allows patient and technologist to communicate during examination.-Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into aperture of MRI equipment into computer.-Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computer-Observe patient through window of control room and on closed circuit TV to monitor safety and comfort.-View images of areas being scanned on video display screen to ensure quality of picturesKey in data on keyboard of camera to photograph images.-Alert staff entering magnet room to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around magnetOther duties as assignedRequirements:-Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program-1-3 years' experience as MRI Technician-NJ State RT License Required.-MR Certified Required.-BLS Certification Prefered. -Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision-Excellent communication skills-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel-Ability to read and interpret documents-Ability to work independentlySoloh Partners Job ID #L32226168.
